黑料老司机has more than  focused on diversity in race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation and religion, with others representing specific denominations.

Social Change and Intercultural Engagement connects students with opportunities to engage with and learn from the 黑料老司机campus, Dallas community and beyond. The office prioritizes advocacy and awareness through immersive community engagement experiences and social justice education.

  • Dream Week, honoring the achievements of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., including a day of service and a commemorative Unity Walk led by the University president. 黑料老司机also participates in the City of Dallas MLK Parade.

  • The monthly discussion series Real Talk, in which students, faculty and staff consider current events and their impact on diversity.

  • The Connect Mentorship Program for first-year and transfer students of color.

  • Mustang Intersections, a leadership retreat focused on diversity and social change.

  • Partnerships with student organizations to celebrate and honor Black History Month, Hispanic Heritage Month, Asian American Heritage Month and Native American Heritage Month.

厂惭鲍鈥檚 empowers students to increase awareness and understanding of gender equity issues. Its goal is to eliminate barriers, diminish prejudices and create a supportive climate and space for all. Programs include:

  • , an annual forum that has examined topics of national interest since 1966.

    • , training for faculty and staff who act as advocates for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning students.

    • LGBT Dialogue, a discussion and support group.
