Program Update:

The ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»úCox Master of Science in Management (MSM) is now a STEM-designated degree, beginning in its Fall 2025 cohort. A STEM designation indicates that an academic program emphasizes at least one of four key fields: science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.

If you apply to the MSM program as an international student, a STEM designation allows for an extension to your F-1 visa Optional Practical Training (OPT) period from 12 months to 24 months after completing this degree.

Push ahead of the pack with a master’s program that puts you in the driver’s seat of your career.

Ranked No. 6 in the U.S. by The Economist, the STEM-designated and OPT-certified Master of Science in Management (MSM) at ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»úCox gives you a strong grasp of business fundamentals in finance, statistics, marketing, accounting, operations and strategic management. Students who complete the program will increase their personal earning potential and gain access to job opportunities and career tracks that are reserved for students who hold advanced degrees. While at the Cox School, you’ll tap into deep relationships with business leaders at Dallas's global 500s. These executives not only help shape the program you graduate from — they're on campus giving talks and connecting. And you can count on a return on your investment at Cox: More than 91 percent of recent graduates had achieved their career or education goal within six months of graduation.

  • The MSM is a Full-Time or Part-Time thirty-two-credit hours degree. The program can be completed in ten months across two semesters (four, seven-week Modules).
  • Courses can be taken on campus or online.
  • Candidates come from a variety of backgrounds including degrees in Economics, Biology and International Relations. All degrees are welcome to apply.

Gain the Edge that Employers Seek

Students who have completed the Master of Science in Management curriculum will be armed with a strong business foundation that will help to transform their resume into a more marketable and diversified set of experiences. MSM graduates will increase their personal earning potential and gain access to job opportunities and career tracks that are reserved for students who hold advanced degrees.
